From set design for TV, production design and art direction of music videos, commercials, and film, to exhibition design, my work has covered all aspects and styles. I can oversee a project from the initial concept, through the design and construction stages, to delivery and installation, including any future maintenance or modification.
The design may incorporate an integrated LED lighting system, like the sets designed for Setanta Ireland and 7 Lá for TG4, or include staging and large-scale pieces like the sets designed for Tommy Fleming at the INEC, and the TG4 Gradam Ceoil at the Cork Opera House. The project may even include scenic backdrops and sculpted theatrical set pieces.
My designs have ranged from the life-like to the surreal. I have designed concepts for virtual sets, which have been used in conjunction with hard set pieces, and fully furnished and dressed room sets for drama and performance. I can provide a prop and modelmaking service, and promotional pieces incorporating graphics or corporate logos.
